Widely Celebrated Time of the Year.. My Christmas!

Why is it that whenever the month of September comes people are all excited? YES! it's because Christmas time is in the air. It is the year's most celebrated holiday both in homes and churches worldwide. We celebrated Christmas in the traditional style. First, Me and my mom went to church we are excited to attend the Christmas candlelight communion at Cathedral of Praise. It is such a wonderful experience to celebrate Christmas in memory of Christ birth. After the church we went home and prepare for the Christmas Eve. My relatives come and we held a Christmas party for the children. Kids were happy singing, dancing and playing games. Of course me and my cousins also have our bonding, in the middle of the our laughter we decided to prepare a special number for the party. While we are enjoying the time, our parents were busy preparing for our Noche Buena. We closed the night by a simple thanks giving and exchanging gifts by the side of beautifully adorned trees, lastly we all enjoyed the minutes we have together by eating fellowship. This is how we celebrated the Christmas holidays.

Truly, Christmas is the time of year were people give loves to each other. But let's not forget the factual meaning of this. Be reminded that we are not the center of this season it is Jesus the center of it, recognizing His birth of which the exact date of birth is not known. Let us show to Jesus that we are blessed to have Him as our Lord and Savior. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!!

P.K. : Pastor's kid. aka Pasaway kid. People's expectation PERFECT KID??

I ALWAYS BEEN HATED BEING LEVELED AS A P.K or COMPARING ME TO OTHER
P.K's. PEOPLE'S EXPECTATION OF PASTOR'S KID CAN BE SO OVERWHELMING,
AS IF WE CAN DO NOTHING WRONG. AS A P.K. I DID EVERYTHING TO PLEASE
OTHER PEOPLE TO PROTECT MY DAD'S REPUTATION.I ALWAYS PARTICIPATE
AT CHURCH. WHEN THE ROUGH EDGES OF MY PERSONALITY WERE EXPOSED
TO THE PUBLIC, PEOPLE WOULD MOCK ME AND SAY
"ANAK KA PA NAMAN NG PASTOR".
TO THINK OF IT MAKES ME FELT LIKE A MORTAL SIN IF YOU WERE A PASTOR'S DAUGHTER, SO MUCH MORE IF YOU WERE A REGULAR ATTENDEE OF THE CHURCH AND NO MATTER HOW MUCH I TRIED TO BE GOOD, I WOULD HEAR PEOPLE WHISPERING THINGS AT MY BACK. STILL I'M SHOWING TO THE PEOPLE HOW GOOD I AM, I ALWAYS PARTICIPATE TO THE CHURCH ACTIVITY AND SO ON.....LATER, GOD SHOWED ME THAT I WAS DOING THESE THINGS OUT OF ANGER TOWARD PEOPLE RATHER THAN LOVE FOR HIM. THE LORD GOT ME INVOLVED IN AN OUTREACH MINISTRY OF ONE CHURCH WHERE I MET MY REAL IDENTITY. GOD SHOWED ME THAT DESPITE OF MY EFFORTS TO BE GOOD, THERE WERE NOTHING IF I DIDN'T DO IT FOR HIM. BEING A P.K IS A PRIVILEGED AND  YET I NEEDED TO COME TO GOD AS ME BROKEN, USELESS, WITH ALL MY PASAWAY ATTITUDES. HE WELCOMES ME IN HIS ARMS NOT BECAUSE I AM A PK BUT BECAUSE I NEED REDEMPTION LIKE ANYONE ELSE. NOW I'M HAPPY WITH MY NEW CHURCH AND FAMILY IN CHRIST. AND I FELT THAT I’M LIVING NOW AS AN ORDINARY KID, ANYWAY I’M SHARING THIS STORY OF MINE TO THE PEOPLE WHO BECAME PART OF MY LIFE. TO THOSE PEOPLE  WHO'VE KNOWN ME WELL,TNX FOR BREAKING MY HEART BEC. OF YOU I FOUND THE REAL ME....AND I THANK GOD THAT HE MOLD ME ONCE AGAIN =) TNX FOR WELCOMING ME IN UR LIFE. =)
