A TREASURE OF MINE

One of the most things that I valued so much is my Bible. Because whenever I’m lonely I will just open it and the Lord will give me a verse that is suitable to my needs. I always bring my Bible with me wherever I go for i know anytime I seek Him the message of His word will be a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.


 I love hearing a message coming from God because it inspires me to live in life. I value this thing so much because it is the word of truth, it gives me advice on how to live in a meaningful life, it reveals Christ on me, it is also the key to true freedom and liberty and last it is the true food for man’s soul.




Aside from Bible,I also love my antique necklace that was given to me by my father. I used this once during the day of my debut only. This item was passed down from generation to generation and I valued it so much. It is a cross surrounded by little diamonds. It’s my grandmother’s necklace and she gave it to my father. When I reached eighteen my father turn over to me this very nice and fancy necklace, one of his statement when he place it in my hands  was to handle it with care and when I already have my own family and children then it's the time for me to hand it over to my first daughter when she reach the age of eighteen. I value this thing so much because it has the memory of my ancestor who had it first. Having this item is a great favor for me because it is I who was given the privilege and the trust to keep it until I forward it to the next generation of our family.

I want to pass to my children these two things that I treasured most because I believe that the even though I’m far from them the Bible will be their guide and path. And the necklace that was passed to me by my father is our families treasure, it contains the everlasting love of our grandmother and grandfather to us. This cross symbolize that even though they already passed away the Lord will always be with us and we know that the time they reached the heaven they whisper to God to continue to guide us and direct us in life.

My 2011 Countdown

I will really miss the year 2010, because during this year lots of trials comes in my life.
And it really test the faith I have about how strong i am to handle the different kind of situation in life.
As i always mention "at the end of the storm there is always a sunshine waiting" and I am really excited for the year 2011 i don't know why? but i believe that this will be a new beginning for me.


My 2011 countdown start with this::
at 10 am i woke up and i saw my mom preparing for the Mega Noche. As usual i toke my breakfast then help  her in everything. I fixed my room, i cleaned it up, i remove all the mess that i found and i changed my curtains. I took a bath for almost an hour, i told myself "this would be the last bath that i will have for the year 2010 so i will take my time in taking a bath". Around 5pm my Auntie came and she helped my mom in the kitchen, I went up to my room and get my notebook and i started to wrote everything that had happen to me for the year 2010 after this, i take my time thinking what will be my Faith Goal for the year 2011. I wrote everything i want to accomplish by faith for the year 2011 the clock keeps on moving at 9pm i'm almost excited because in just 3 hours i will say goodbye for the year 2010. I can't explain what i feel when my mom said "lets start to countdown because 2011 is coming in just 10 seconds..." 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 and there it is HAPPY NEW YEAR we all screamed. We went outside our gate and watch over our neighbors fireworks i can see that they spend lots of money with those things, noise are getting louder and louder and louder. Watching over the beautiful fireworks makes me realize that it is already the start of the new beginning and everything that had happened in the past will just remain as a great testimony of mine. By 1 am of 1-1-11 we start to ate the foods prepared by my mom and aunt. :) Right now i'm looking forward for the new beginning of my journey toward the year 2011.

Widely Celebrated Time of the Year.. My Christmas!

Why is it that whenever the month of September comes people are all excited? YES! it's because Christmas time is in the air. It is the year's most celebrated holiday both in homes and churches worldwide.We celebrated Christmas in the traditional style. First, Me and my mom went to church we are excited to attend the Christmas candlelight communion at Cathedral of Praise. It is such a wonderful experience to celebrate Christmas in memory of Christ birth. After the church we went home and prepare for the Christmas Eve. My relatives come and we held a Christmas party for the children. Kids were happy singing, dancing and playing games. Of course me and my cousins also have our bonding, in the middle of the our laughter we decided to prepare a special number for the party. While we are enjoying the time, our parents were busy preparing for our Noche Buena. We closed the night by a simple thanks giving and exchanging gifts by the side of beautifully adorned trees,lastly we all enjoyed the minutes we have together by eating fellowship. This is how we celebrated the Christmas holidays. 


Truly, Christmas is the time of year were people give loves to each other. But let's not forget the factual meaning of this. Be reminded that we are not the center of this season it is Jesus the center of it, recognizing His birth of which the exact date of birth is not known. Let us show to Jesus that we are blessed to have Him as our Lord and Savior. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!!

P.K. : Pastor's kid. aka Pasaway kid. People's expectation PERFECT KID??

I ALWAYS BEEN HATED BEING LEVELED AS A P.K or COMPARING ME TO OTHER
P.K's. PEOPLE'S EXPECTATION OF PASTOR'S KID CAN BE SO OVERWHELMING,
AS IF WE CAN DO NOTHING WRONG. AS A P.K. I DID EVERYTHING TO PLEASE
OTHER PEOPLE TO PROTECT MY DAD'S REPUTATION.I ALWAYS PARTICIPATE
AT CHURCH. WHEN THE ROUGH EDGES OF MY PERSONALITY WERE EXPOSED
TO THE PUBLIC, PEOPLE WOULD MOCK ME AND SAY
"ANAK KA PA NAMAN NG PASTOR".
TO THINK OF IT MAKES ME FELT LIKE A MORTAL SIN IF YOU WERE A PASTOR'S DAUGHTER, SO MUCH MORE IF YOU WERE A REGULAR ATTENDEE OF THE CHURCH AND NO MATTER HOW MUCH I TRIED TO BE GOOD, I WOULD HEAR PEOPLE WHISPERING THINGS AT MY BACK. STILL I'M SHOWING TO THE PEOPLE HOW GOOD I AM, I ALWAYS PARTICIPATE TO THE CHURCH ACTIVITY AND SO ON.....LATER, GOD SHOWED ME THAT I WAS DOING THESE THINGS OUT OF ANGER TOWARD PEOPLE RATHER THAN LOVE FOR HIM. THE LORD GOT ME INVOLVED IN AN OUTREACH MINISTRY OF ONE CHURCH WHERE I MET MY REAL IDENTITY. GOD SHOWED ME THAT DESPITE OF MY EFFORTS TO BE GOOD, THERE WERE NOTHING IF I DIDN'T DO IT FOR HIM. BEING A P.K IS A PRIVILEGED AND  YET I NEEDED TO COME TO GOD AS ME BROKEN, USELESS, WITH ALL MY PASAWAY ATTITUDES. HE WELCOMES ME IN HIS ARMS NOT BECAUSE I AM A PK BUT BECAUSE I NEED REDEMPTION LIKE ANYONE ELSE. NOW I'M HAPPY WITH MY NEW CHURCH AND FAMILY IN CHRIST. AND I FELT THAT I’M LIVING NOW AS AN ORDINARY KID, ANYWAY I’M SHARING THIS STORY OF MINE TO THE PEOPLE WHO BECAME PART OF MY LIFE. TO THOSE PEOPLE  WHO'VE KNOWN ME WELL,TNX FOR BREAKING MY HEART BEC. OF YOU I FOUND THE REAL ME....AND I THANK GOD THAT HE MOLD ME ONCE AGAIN =) TNX FOR WELCOMING ME IN UR LIFE. =)
